Elm Studios Giveaway!!!!

I first came across Elm Studios, on Etsy, over a year ago, and instantly added them to my favorite shops .
Elm Studios was founded by Erin Lynne Meissner. She graduated from Alfred University with a bachelor degree in fine arts.

When she was a little girl, she would always dream of a shop that she would own someday. Erin is a single mom who stays at home with her two little girls thanks to the support of her family and friends.

September Sponsor...Red Egg Boutique!

You may have noticed another snazzy little ad on the side of my blog for Red Egg Boutique. Well I want to tell you a little about Lora, and I hope you taka a minute to visit her shop!

Lora loves anything artsy and loves to redo old things from furniture to jewelry. She has been fascinated with Jewelry since she was a little girl, and especially  LOVES vintage jewelry!

Lora is a hairdresser and have owned a salon for 22 years.  Her etsy store name comes from having red hair and the last name of Eggertz.. Hence the name "Red Egg Boutique" :)

If you like a jewelry piece but need small changes like adding a chain, changing length or pearl color, taking off something that you don't like on the piece, she would be happy to make the change for you!

These are just two of my favorite pieces from her shop....

There are so many more great pieces, be sure to click over to her shop and take a look around!

Give a little bit.....

Thanks to Walgreens for sponsoring my writing. Help Walgreens help others! Visit their Facebook page here to learn about their charitable partners and decide which cause Walgreens will donate to with a quick vote.

So I was listening to a radiothon while driving to work last week and it make me want to do something to help others.  There are so many amazing charities out there that do so much good for this community and this country.  My goal for the rest of this year is become involved in some way in a charitable organization.  In my research for one, I came across so many...it is so hard to choose. This also gave me an idea to share some of these organizations with you.  I hope you find one that you would like to help or learn more about.

Children's Memorial Hospital

For more than 125 years, Children's has relied on the support of donors and volunteers to help ensure that critically ill and injured children have access to the highest quality care. They truly are a great hospital with 100% of the donations going to help.  Their site lists all of the different ways you can help.

Along that line there is an organization out of Children's Memorial that helps children with brain tumors.  It is a GREAT organization, and they have raised over $1,000,000 since they started in 2000.  Check out  The Young Associates Board for more information.

Finally, check out Elyssa's Misson.  They offer hands-on support to area schools, religious and community organizations to help educate students, staff and parents on how to recognize those teens most at risk. Elyssa's Mission has adopted the SOS(Signs of Suicide) program that is a nationally recognized evidenced based program for teaching warning signs of depression, substance abuse and suicide. All services are donated.

I never knew just how many great organizations there out there to get involved in.  Even if you don't have the money to donate, your time is just as effective.  I would love to hear from you on any organizations you donate to, volunteer at, or just feel strongly about.

Don't forget to help Walgreens help others! Visit their Facebook page here to learn about their charitable partners and decide which cause Walgreens will donate to with a quick vote. I was selected for this sponsorship by the Clever Girls Collective, which endorses Blog With Integrity, as I do.

Mompact Blog TILTY Cup Review and Giveaway #mompact

I am participating in the Mompact Blog Hop, with over 120 other bloggers. This event is HUGE! The purpose of this Blog Hop is to promote “moms supporting moms”. The item I am reviewing is the TILTY cup, the better sippy cup!

I am seriously so excited to be hosting this giveaway.  I have heard about the TILTY and see it is sold out everywhere.  Now I see why.  I think this is the perfect cup for your toddler and easily transitions them to "grown-up" cups.

TILTY's patent pending ergonomic design makes learning to drink easier and more comfortable.. TILTY keeps the liquid at an angle and allows it to flow to the spout with minimal effort so that your little one doesn't have to tilt his/her head back as far. TILTY makes finishing the last drops a cinch and creates habits that will help your baby transition from sippy cups to "grown-up" cups easier and quicker. TILTY comes with a snap-on lid and does not have a valve, which according to the American Dental Association is better for a toddler's dental development.

You can find out more about TILTY, here:
You can also win a set of 2 TILTTY cups.......enter below and good luck!

And please be sure to visit the next blog in the blog hop....Mommy's Minute!
NEXT Mompact Giveaway

Once again, this review and giveaway is part of the Mompact Blog Hop and you should visit the other 120 blogs to enter additional giveaways and return to Mompact.com to find the links, etc.
Disclosure: “I was provided with free products to review. I did not receive any other type of compensation. This is my honest review.”  Contest ends September 17th, 2011 at 11:59 pm.

They want those that purchase from our bakery for themselves or as a gift, to have an exquisite taste experience!
